International project which joins the efforts of four prestigious European semiotics centers in order to create an international doctoral program – an unachievable objective for a single university. Owing to the different traditions and research profiles of our four academic units, we propose a curriculum with well-balanced semiotic expertise. It corresponds to the major areas of knowledge and value based society: culture (Tartu), communication (Torino), social relations (Sofia) and arts (Lapland).
